Thankful....

Today Tim had to go for "simulation" -- where they get him ready for the coming radiation treatments by making him a most handsome mask :) to wear while they shoot him with radiation.

Just before we got to the appointment the fabulous Dr. O (he did his surgery to remove the lymph nodes) called Tim on his cell phone. He was calling to tell him that the pathology reports had come back and that out of 25 lymph nodes that were removed, only two of them were cancerous with the third one being enlarged probably due to inflammation and not cancer! Also, the jugular vein that was removed showed no sign of cancer. While the cancerous lymph nodes were touching the jugular, it didn't infiltrate it and carry cancer into the blood stream. What great news that was! We are thrilled that we are seeing what are small "miracles" in the big scheme of things. How blessed we have been all along this path so far. Tim has been able to get into doctors and have tests and procedures done in record time -- things that are nothing short of miraculous. The timing of it all has been truly amazing.
We are looking today at the miracles and feeling very thankful!
