Winter seems to have fled from outside my window. I will miss it. I enjoy the cold and the snow and the memories that are created in the cold.
We had a lovely snow that was special ordered just for Tim and Lisa when they came in December. Lisa is from Canada and now lives in Arizona so she doesn't see much snow anymore. We ordered snow just for her!
Today it is 66 degrees.
Yup, I think winter has officially fled.
I will let it go but it has to promise to come back next year! :)

I so hope it has fled until next year! I find that I get the winter blues with so much snow and cold! Maybe I'm just getting old! :)
You were always meant to have a Canadian in the family.
You know, Loretta, people probably think you're crazy to love winter. But I am one who understands! I love winter. I love snow. I love cold weather, eating soup, drinking hot chocolate, wearing sweaters, and sleeping under two blankets with my window open even on the coldest of Missouri nights.

I am happy you understand, Diane --few people do! Most people get MAD that I love winter. They can hate it but I can love it! (huh?) I am in good company having you love winter as much as I do and for the same reasons! :)
And yes, LeAnne, I was always meant to have a Canadian in the family! I love that she loves the snow like I do!
Mariah, is there anything we can do to help to embrace your inner snowchild? :)
I think that only a few "special" people have an inner snowchild!
