In the Good Old Summertime...

It's been an extremely rainy summer here in Kentucky. While record heat engulfs the west we have see rain consistently for weeks. The rain even delayed our setting off 4th of July fireworks.  

All the rain continually filled up the pig that sits on the table on the patio.

 YAY for the 4th of July!

When the rain cleared in late afternoon on July 6th, this is what appeared in the skies over Kentucky! This was taken by our friend's daughter out on their farm!

This was what we saw at our house! 

Although you can't see it in this picture, it was a double rainbow!

On the occasional sunny days we've had the girls like to get a little sun.
